Thank you guys,
I’m using dual enders instead of lanyards precisely because in tek diving everything is clipped with that kind of stuff, so I basically mantain the same gesture.
Not having the leash of the lanyard it’s a minus I know, but I’m organized to have the camera in my hand when shooting or clipped close to my body when not, the leash for me that can get stuck somewhere or, worst, in other gears (canister cords etc.).
I’m still thinking about the torch, I know that using a video light or something mounted directly on the camera it’s more comfortable, but on the other side, the minus are:
1) it’s hard to manage signals (Ex. night dives) or call the attention of you buddy, just think about how to generate the emergency signal using a video light, so big light steradiant angle, with both hands on the camera, instead of having one torch in one hand.
2) you must always have the camera in your hand in order to have the diving torch.
Right now I’m going to decide each dives comparing to the kind of dive and the consequential planning.
I think didactics should think about it and create a standard, since there are a lot of divers approaching underwater photography!
