This is the first time I’ll be entering this contest and was wondering if you do any forums to critique photos that are potentials to enter the contest. I have read the rules, but there are grey areas I’m still not sure of. As an example, I know I can alter exposure, but I have a picture of an octopus in a shell where I blackened out the entire background other than the octopus in the shell, and wondering if the committee will frown upon it as too much of an alternation, even thought it’s technically within the rules as written.
